"Glee" went into its protracted midseason hiatus carrying over last week's high ratings,Medium dvd but even in the 18-49 demo,Michael Jackson Ultimate dvd Collection "Glee" couldn't top CBS' "Criminal minds box," which was Wednesday's top show in most measures and lead CBS to an easy overall win and a tight demo triumph.
CBS had the highest ratings for the 8 p.m. hour with a 4.7/8 for "The New Adventures of Old Christine" and "Gary Unmarried," ABC's "Shrek the Halls" and a new episode of "The Middle" were a close second with a 4.6/7,Buffy the vampire slayer season 1-7 dvd but actually averaged more viewers and won the hour in the 18-49 demo with a 2.5 rating. NBC's "Mercy" was a close third with a 4.5/6,Seinfeld dvd beating the 4.1/7 for FOX's "So You Think You Can Dance," though the FOX results show averaged a higher demo rating. The CW trailed with a "Gossip Girl" repeat.
"Criminal minds box" delivered an 8.9/14 for CBS in the 9 p.m. hour, also doing a 3.8 demo rating. NBC's "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" was second overall with a 5.2/8,Michael Jackson DVD Collection but fourth in the demo. ABC's "Modern Family" (5.5/9) and "Cougar Town" (4.3/7) were third also doing a 3.3 demo rating.Seinfeld dvd FOX's "Glee" ended its 2009 run with a 4.8/7 and a 3.6 demo rating,Buffy the Vampire slayer dvd both in line with last week's totals.CSI Las Vegas dvd The CW's repeat of "The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show" doubled its "Gossip Girl" lead-in,Buffy the Vampire slayer dvd but stayed in fifth.
