once a golfer was playing a round of golf from the professional tees. the 1st hole was a par 3 of 200 yards with a pond fronting the green. "how long is it?", he asked his caddie. "looks like, 168 yards." the golfer pulled a 7 iron from his bag and teed up a ball. his tee shot landed in the pond. he slammed the club into his bag and piled up into the cart. when he saw the scorecard, he yelled, "YOU READ THAT 168 FROM A FORWARD TEE! THAT`S WHY I LANDED IN THE WATER!" his caddie`s mishap led the golfer to a double bogey, not a good way to start a round.
